We are a small independent community pharmacy looking for a full-time pharmacist who wants to practice without corporate quotas or chronic understaffing. Reliable schedule, robust assistant support (minimum two assistants on shift), and manageable prescription volume.

Hours are 10:00AM to 5:00PM on Mondays to Fridays and 10:00AM to 2:00PM on Saturdays. No evenings or Sundays.

Responsibilities:
Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage
Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
Compound and dispense prescribed medications
Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications




Provide patients with pertinent drug information
Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
Supervise and maintain records of all medications
Other duties as per pharmacy owner

Qualifications:
Registered with the BC College of Pharmacists and in Valuable Standing
Minimum 3 years of previous experience working in a retail pharmacy
Injection Certified
Preferred: Proficient in WinRX
Preferred: Certification in Opioid Use Disorder Maintenance

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour

Experience:
Pharmacist: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
BC Pharmacist License (required)
Injection Certification (preferred)
OAT Certification (preferred)
