Duties
Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning procedures
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is in valuable working order
Assist with food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff to support food preparation processes
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic workspace
Organize and store clean items properly for easy access by kitchen staff
Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by disposing of waste and recycling appropriately
Collaborate with restaurant and hospitality team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is advantageous
Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in daily operations
