About us

We are looking for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Help with a passion for culinary arts to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant or catering kitchen and be able to prepare various types of food in a rapid-paced setting.

Duties & Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
Put away clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated storage areas.
Properly use and maintain dishwashing equipment, detergents, and sanitizers.
Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
Empty and maintain garbage, recycling, and compost bins throughout the shift.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dry storage areas and storage shelves.
Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety, and sanitation procedures.
Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as directed by the Chef.




Support the kitchen team with additional cleaning, organization, and general duties as required.

Requirements
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Previous experience in a dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, catering, banquet, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment and manage multiple tasks.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction from the Chef and kitchen team.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
