Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated FOH (Front of House) Manager / Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service while managing daily operations. Your leadership and hospitality skills will ensure guests enjoy a memorable experience from the moment they walk in to when they leave, all while maintaining high standards of food safety and team management.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Manage restaurant operations during shifts, including supervising staff and ensuring smooth service flow
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms
Oversee food preparation and serving processes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, balancing registers at shift end
Supervise team members,
including interviewing prospective staff and providing ongoing training in food handling, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
Maintain a clean, organized dining setting that adheres to food safety regulations and hospitality standards
Experience
Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with a focus on front-of-house operations
Supervising or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
Solid knowledge of POS systems like Micros or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing staff and managing restaurant teams
Background in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is a plus; bartending or barista experience is beneficial
