Paint Batch Maker

Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour

We are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing paint and chemical batches according to formulation instructions, operating and monitoring processing equipment, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring quality and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities
Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units.
Measure, weigh, and load chemical ingredients according to formulation cards.
Prepare and process paint batches according to specified formulations and production requirements.
Start up, operate, shut down, and troubleshoot production equipment.
Monitor the batching and mixing process to ensure proper formulation and consistency.
Take samples during production and perform required quality control checks.
Adjust processing machines and equipment as required.
Record production information accurately, including batch and processing details.
Follow established safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipment.




Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
Maintain a clean, protected, and organized workspace.
Report equipment, production, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements
Previous experience in paint manufacturing, chemical batching, mixing, blending, or a similar manufacturing setting is preferred.
Comfortable measuring and weighing chemical ingredients accurately.
Ability to follow formulation cards, written instructions, and production procedures.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to maintain accurate production records.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production workplace.
Ability to follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

Experience as a Paint Batch Maker, Batch Mixer, Chemical Blender, Compounder, Chemical Operator, or Paint Mixer would be considered an asset.
