As our Ontario practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Real Estate Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid or remote prospect based out of our Niagara Falls office.

The Opportunity

You’ll support and manage Ontario residential & commercial real estate files from opening through closing, working closely with our lawyer and legal team while serving as an important point of contact for clients and industry partners.

This role is ideal for an experienced real estate clerk who is comfortable working independently, understands the Ontario real estate closing process, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

- Manage residential real estate files from opening through closing
- Handle purchases, sales, refinances, transfers, and related real estate transactions
- Prepare and organize closing documentation
- Communicate with clients, lenders, mortgage brokers, REALTORS®, and other professionals throughout the closing process
- Review agreements, title documents, mortgage instructions, and other relevant documentation
- Prepare statements of adjustments, trust documents, reporting documentation, and other closing materials
- Coordinate with Teranet/Teraview, title insurers, lenders, and other closing partners
- Monitor closing dates, deadlines, undertakings, and outstanding requirements




- Ensure lender and transaction requirements are satisfied prior to closing
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic files
- Assist with electronic registrations and closing procedures
- Provide timely, professional, and friendly communication to clients and referral partners
- Identify potential issues early and work with the legal team to resolve them
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve our systems and processes as we continue to grow

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as an Ontario residential real estate clerk
- Strong understanding of the Ontario real estate closing process
- Experience handling files independently from opening through closing
- Familiarity with Teranet/Teraview and electronic registrations
- Experience with purchases, sales, refinances, and title transfers
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
- Strong computer skills and confidence using modern legal technology
- Someone who takes pride in providing an exceptional client experience
- A team player who is willing to jump in, help where needed, and contribute to a growing practice
