Key Responsibilities: • Develop and certify property tax assessments for Vermont • Compile and maintain the annual Grand List of properties • Act as Chair for valuation grievance hearings • Manage department staff, training, and performance evaluations • Prepare and lead city-wide reappraisal projects

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred • Minimum eight years’ experience in property valuation • Certification from IAAO or similar is highly desired • Proficient with CAMA software and real estate valuation • Valid Vermont Driver’s License required
