Protect guests and ensure safety as an Event Security Officer at the Pacific National Exhibition. Join our team part-time to deliver memorable experiences at various events throughout the year.
As an Event Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for attendees at the PNE's exciting events. This role requires previous security experience, including event security, as well as a valid BC Security License. You’ll interact with guests while managing situations diplomatically and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at venues such as the Pacific Coliseum and Playland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide friendly guest service at all events
• Greet guests and staff courteously upon arrival




• Handle unruly guests calmly and diplomatically
• Mediate disputes and potentially remove disruptive individuals
• Ensure uniform and appearance standards are met
Requirements:
• Completion of grade 12
• Valid BC Security License required
• Previous experience in security is essential
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
