Description

Like a sports team, every role contributes to the company’s success. The Receiving Clerk is the team’s receiver, ensuring that incoming merchandise is accurately processed and ready to support customers with all their upcoming projects!

Position Summary

The Receiving clerk suppo rts all tasks and operations related to receiving merchandise. This includes verifying received materials by validating quantities, reviewing delivery documentation, communicating with suppliers as needed, managing defective products, and coordinating the transfer of materials to other store locations. The Receiving clerk is expected to maintain a good knowledge of the products offered, as well as the procedures and processes related to their assigned department and adjacent departments. The role also involves ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures, while performing any other related duties as required.
