As a permanent Mine Maintenance Mechanic, you will report to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor. This challenging full-time role requires skills in mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and operational servicing of mining equipment. Ideal candidates should demonstrate mechanical knowledge, effective problem-solving, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily maintenance and repairs in the mine area
• Diagnose mechanical issues using precision instruments
• Perform welding operations using Tig, Mig, and Stick methods




• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work setting
• Work from blueprints and schematics to complete repairs
Requirements:
• Training as an industrial mechanic, automotive technician, or similar
• Ability to work safely in a mining workplace
• Proficient with common hand tools and equipment
• Robust communication skills with coworkers
• Flexibility to work rotating 10 or 12-hour shifts
