Job Description The (SHA) – Saskatoon and the , Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management, is seeking locum Anesthesiologists with clinical and academic interests to provide locum coverage for the period of June 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026.

The Department is an enthusiastic department focused on providing the highest level of care possible to the people of Saskatchewan.

The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary care environment with a dedicated group of approximately 70 anesthesiologists.

The department is an integrated group practice, within the context of a full service tertiary care profile with practice accessibility to the acute care sites in the Saskatoon area.

The Department has a strong tradition of quality educational programming at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.





The successful candidate will have appointments with both the SHA and the University of Saskatchewan.

Compensation details: For Saskatoon , the rates for the period of June 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026 are: In-Province Locums: $3,000/day guarantee via Fee For Service Billings Out-of-Province Locums: $4,000/day* flat rate.

For the period of January 1, 2027 and onward, we offer competitive compensation commensurate with Canadian national norms on a FFS basis or a daily contract rate.

Job Qualifications Candidates in consideration will hold certification or eligibility for certification in anesthesiology and be eligible for licensure with the .
