Job Description WB Games is seeking a Manager, Player Experience (PX) Research who excels in building robust, trusted partnerships with development teams to help them create games our players love.

As the PX Manager, you will lead and develop a globally distributed team of PX Researchers who work closely with our studios to deliver clear, actionable, player‑centered insights.

Your New Role… In this role you will ensure research & player-centric thinking is integrated early, aligned with our PX Strategy, and delivered at the velocity of development to reduce ambiguity and strengthen decision‑making across milestones.

Through thoughtful leadership, strategic planning, and cross‑functional alignment, you will enable teams to operate with clarity, consistency, and confidence as they bring player experiences to life.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Manage, mentor, and develop PX Researchers across all levels; oversee performance, growth plans, and skill advancement Foster a collaborative, curious, player‑centric team culture Oversee research planning across multiple projects & franchises; ensure alignment with PX vision, strategic priorities,



and studio needs Prioritize research needs based on impact, ROI, and available resources Build trusted partnerships with Design, Production, Publishing, and insights teams; ensuring PX is engaged early in development Support cross-functional synthesis across PX, Analytics, Market Research, and Community teams to produce unified, player‑centered narratives Ensure insights are reliable, actionable, and tailored to the appropriate communication altitude for different stakeholders Support teams in identifying knowledge gaps and using research to de‑risk decisions throughout development Qualifications & Experience… Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Science, UX Research, or related field, or equivalent experience 7+ years in User Research, UX Research, or related field, including 2+ years of mentoring or people leadership, ideally with products across mobile, console, and PC platforms.

Experience partnering with design/production teams in a development environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions Strong prioritization, planning, and multi‑project management capabilities Familiarity with game development cycles, milestone structures, and production workflows Solid command of user research methods and their strategic application across development phases Ability to advocate for the player with clarity, empathy, and diplomacy Demonstrated skill in anticipating risks and guiding teams toward confident, informed decisions Commitment to fostering a culture of curiosity, thoughtful communication, and shared accountability Genuine passion for gaming and delivering exceptional player experiences Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to conduct research across our product portfolio and to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders worldwide.

Bilingualism French/English is a strongly desired asset.
