Our client, a manufacturer of inspection machines and scanners, is looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Technician, (50% design and 50% assembly). 20% to 25% travel to US, Europe, China.

Produce and update 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for various projects and new products; Prepare bills of materials for mechanical components and parts; Select appropriate standard mechanical components; Participate in product testing, assembly and fine-tuning; Participate in the development and improvement of mechanical products; Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machines; Perform preventive maintenance,



repairs and troubleshooting on robotic control systems; Respond to emergency situations requiring diagnosis and repair of robotic systems; Travel to customer sites to perform installations and repairs.

Requirements: DEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education; 0 to 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, Solid

Edge or Inventor, including a positive command of advanced features; 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Good understanding of control equipment and robotic systems; Interest in manufacturing and mechanical assembly; Ability to work both on design and technical issues in the field; Valid passport and driver's license (20% to 25% travel to US, Europe, China); French.
