Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a 3-Ton Truck Driver for a 4-month contract. This is a delivery role based in the city, with consistent hours and an emphasis on customer service, safety, and timely transportation.
Contract length: 4 Months
Location: Montreal, QC
Key Responsibilities: Drive a 3-ton truck to deliver goods to various locations
Load and unload materials using equipment or by hand
Ensure cargo is secure and properly balanced
Follow a delivery schedule and complete route sheets
Communicate with dispatch and customers during deliveries
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and appearance
Requirements: Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract
Experience driving a 3-ton or similar delivery truck
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use loading tools
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong time management and route planning abilities
Must have CSA-approved safety footwear
