Our construction client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Controller to lead their finance operations and manage a team of three. This is a great opportunity for a professional who thrives in a agile environment, enjoys leading a team, and wants to play a pivotal role in financial strategy and operational excellence. Work Arrangement: Hybrid in Kitchener-Waterloo,ON.

Responsibilities:

Lead all finance operations and manage a team of three.

Lead complex construction-based finance activities and collaborate closely with construction teams.

Oversee accounts payable department and approve payments.

Manage month-end, year-end, and quarter-end processes, as well as all financial reporting.

Play a key role in an upcoming ERP transition.

Qualifications:

CPA Required

7+ years of experience in an accounting or finance department, with 2+ years managing a team.

Experience with ERP transitions and construction ERPs like Sage, Timberline, or Jonas.
