You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, safe, and cost-effective geotechnical solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing geotechnical design scopes, reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings, reports, and construction deliverables, and ensuring that work meets applicable codes, standards, quality requirements, and client expectations. You will guide site investigation planning, interpret field and laboratory data, and oversee the assessment of foundations, excavations, retaining structures, slopes, embankments, earthworks, tunnels, and other geotechnical systems. The role also involves preparing proposals, developing budgets and schedules, managing technical risk, supporting business development, and providing construction-phase advice,

You will mentor engineers and technical staff while promoting collaboration, innovation, and a strong culture of health and safety. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering and be professionally licensed, or eligible for licensure, in a relevant North American jurisdiction. You will bring significant experience in geotechnical design and project delivery, with solid knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, seismic considerations, and relevant design standards. Experience with major infrastructure, transportation, energy, buildings, marine, or water-related projects is desirable. Strong communication, organization, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. A commitment to technical excellence, continuous learning, and inclusive teamwork will be highly valued.
