Position Summary Key Responsibilities Available to be cross trained in several general labor positions across the production floor.

Sanitation: Clean and sanitize the Hatcher Room, hatching machines, tops, and overhead areas daily prior to egg transfer, following the seven-step sanitation process to prevent cross-contamination.

Chick Room: Grade and sort chicks in accordance with quality, welfare, and biosecurity standards.

Delivery Helper:



assist drivers with the delivery of day-old chicks to customer farms and provide backup support for chick delivery and egg truck drivers as required.

Box Wash: Cleaning and sanitizing chick boxes, dollies, and egg trays to support daily hatchery operations.

Provide coverage for vacation, sick time, absenteeism, and workload fluctuations.

Adhere to Maple Leaf Foods AgOps Biosecurity Policy and Personal Hygiene Program at all times.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
