Security staff provide mobile or static coverage, conduct patrols, and ensure a safe and secure living environment for residents.

Position: Full Time Security Guard Site: Sifton Properties - Riverbend Site Address: 1000 Sandy Sommerville Drive, London, ON, N6K 4N2 Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement – calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly Hours: Saturday - Monday (22:00 – 07:00hrs) Payrate: $19.00/hr Job Duties: You will work part time shifts performing access control duties, including documenting vehicles and their occupants.

You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people in a fast paced environment.

In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Monitor the gatehouse and surrounding area.

Utilize radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.

Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.





Prerequisites: Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) English (oral and written) fluency is a must Must possess excellent computer skills.

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

Post-Secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience is preferred Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position.
