About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote E-commerce Assistant to support their online retail operations. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home anywhere in South Africa . You will assist with various e-commerce tasks, including product listing management, order processing, customer support, and website maintenance. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and eager to contribute to the growth of an online retail business, working effectively within a virtual team structure. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce within a flexible, remote setting, supporting the company's digital presence from its operational base in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with uploading and updating product listings on the e-commerce website, ensuring accuracy of descriptions, pricing, and images.
- Process online orders, manage shipping logistics, and track order fulfillment.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor website performance and identify any technical issues or user experience problems.




- Assist in creating and scheduling social media content to promote products and engage customers.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the e-commerce team.

Requirements

- Previous experience in e-commerce, administration, or a customer service role is beneficial.
- Proficiency with computers and comfortable learning new software and online platforms.
