About the Role EA Vancouver is looking for a Quality Designer to join the EA Sports FC Companion App Quality Verification team. The role is an opportunity to lead the strategic quality practices for the mobile and web companion app and to deliver the best experience to players. The Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an integral part of the development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support game teams to optimise software performance and elevate gameplay. Its dedicated efforts ensure the delivery of cutting‑edge entertainment experiences that captivate and inspire players and fans globally.
Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end quality strategy for mobile and web.
Collaborate with an experimental mindset to create solutions to quality problems.
Analyse and compile data points spanning multiple sources and use them to build strategies that improve the overall player experience.
Mentor others, assisting with and growing their knowledge.
Promote a "Player First" approach and advocate for the player in everything we do to help achieve a quality experience for players.
Partner with senior members of the development, production, and design teams to develop a quality player experience.




Required Experience & Qualifications Experience leading mobile game play testing.
Experience playing FC, including the Companion App.
5+ years of applicable experience.
Foundation in machine learning/AI concepts and evaluation.
Experience with bug prevention and containment strategies.
Experience working within a continuous delivery model.
Preferred Skills Experience working with React Native.
Workplace Hybrid role, working at least 3 days a week in the Burnaby office.
