Starkman & Zhang Lawyers, a boutique litigation firm in Markham, Ontario, is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant / Junior Associate to join our team in person.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their legal career who is eager to learn litigation, detail-oriented, and ready to take on meaningful work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
What You'll Do Prepare and organize court filings, motion materials, and evidence briefs
Manage litigation deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements
Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and clients
Draft correspondence and assist with document production
Support lawyers in trial preparation and hearing logistics
What We're Looking For Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
A collaborative, proactive attitude
Fluency in Mandarin is a must
Relevant education or experience in a legal setting is an asset
Location: Markham, ON (Highway 7 & 404, free parking)
