Advance your accounting career with FirstService Residential as a Property Accountant. This full time role focuses on financial reporting and budget preparation for rental properties.

As a Property Accountant, you will contribute directly to the Client Accounting team by preparing monthly financial statements and annual budgets. Your responsive interactions with Property Managers and clients will ensure clear communication and support throughout the financial cycle. You will also conduct financial analysis and reports, manage cash positions, and solve accounts payable and receivable issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly financial statements
• Address financial inquiries from Property Managers and owners




• Monitor and resolve accounts payable and receivable issues
• Ensure accurate tax reconciliation and remittance
• Conduct financial analysis and special projects as needed

Requirements:
• 1–3 years in rental property accounting or finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Yardi preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
