As an essential member of the De Salaberry Laboratory, you will assist with sample triaging, accessioning, and perform routine procedures under the guidance of a Charge Technologist. Your expertise will help maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous experience in medical labs and a certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science are preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in triaging, accessioning, and specimen processing
• Perform phlebotomies following departmental protocols




• Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory workplace
• Contribute to quality assurance programs
• Support effective communication within the team

Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent, Manitoba Standards
• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred
• Familiar with medical terminology and sterile techniques
• Keyboarding skills of 50-55 wpm an asset
• Able to work independently and under pressure
