About the Role The FC Audio team is seeking an experienced audio professional to contribute immediately to audio development. The role oversees audio-specific projects to create and maintain a quality audio experience, with a focus on authentic dialogue for story-driven game experiences. The audio qualified reports to the Development Manager and works with the Audio leads, taking direction from senior audio artists while contributing creativity and design insight.
Key Responsibilities Create quality audio for video games, with a high focus on authentic dialogue to suit story-driven game experiences.
Author small, well-defined audio-related tasks and directly support features, small projects, or tasks within the Speech discipline, with a high focus on content pipelines.
Complete technical implementation, logic, and data-basing tasks catered to the user experience.
Participate in project problem solving with the audio team and collaborate with the team while also working independently.
Manage editor package imports, sample handling, and database updates.
Perform quality control review for the project's audio (pre-CQC) on all applicable platforms.
Create software design to support custom source elements.
Manage source control, submit to file depots, and handle build pipelines.
Collaborate in prototyping and driving innovation and improvements.
Take direction from Audio Leads and other senior audio artists on the project while expressing creativity and design insight.
Required Experience & Qualifications 7-10 years' studio engineering/recording/VO experience (or equivalent).
5+ years game audio experience.
Experience in all audio design and production phases, with proficiency in at least one audio discipline/area.




Experience with VO and technical implementation of game audio.
Technical game audio implementation experience.
Proficiency in at least one audio middleware software (Wwise, Fmod).
Experience with third-party game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.).
Expert in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of a code or scripting language (C#, C++, SQL, Python, Lua, etc.).
Knowledge of the sport and game (FC27).
Database experience (MS Access, Excel, Google Sheets) working with large data sets.
Solid experience using game audio development tools, technology, and pipelines.
Proficiency with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW.
Solid knowledge of PC and console audio hardware.
Exceptional sound design skills.
Preferred Skills Experience with Quality Assurance Verification.
Experience with onboarding new team members.
Knowledge and familiarity with Professional sports (mainly Football/Soccer), teams, leagues.
Proficiency with VBA macros, SQL, Python, JavaScript, etc.
Experience with remote VO recording sessions.
Salary British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): $77,700 - $107,900 CAD
