We are currently recruiting for aSecurity Officer to manage parking and bylaw enforcement in Vancouver (UBC area) on weekends.
Shift times: Saturday and Sunday 10am till 6pm
Pay rate: $22.50/hr
Some of your responsibilities include: Conducting regular mobile and footpatrols of the community
Enforce parking regulations, issuing warnings and notices when required
Exercising caution and discretion before enacting towing procedures
Liaising with the RCMP and towing companies during violations
Providing superior customer service to clients andthepublic
Maintaining a safe environment for all personnel and the public
Investigating and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
Reporting to theclientandOperations management for further duties as necessary
Your Must-Haves: Valid BC SecurityLicence
Basic First Aid Certificate
Class 5 BC Drivers Licence and clean drivers abstract
Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
Professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure




Able to stand and walk for long periods and work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills.
