Bridgemans Crew Management Ltd. is seeking First Cooks to join their floatel operations aboard the MV Saga X, docked in Squamish, BC. These professionals will play a key role in preparing high-volume meals for residents and crew, ensuring quality and food safety standards are met. The ideal candidates are experienced in large-scale food production, thrive in a team environment, and are comfortable with rotational work aboard a marine vessel.

What You'll Need

Foodsafe Level I required; Level II preferred





2+ years progressive cooking experience as a First Cook in high volume production kitchens or accommodations facilities

Culinary diploma or related work experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis (28 days on/14 days off)

Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen, marine medical examination, and physical demands assessment

Within 6 months, capable of passing required training for MED Domestic Vessel Safety Certificate and Crowd and Crisis Management certificate (employer arranged)
