Lookout Housing and Health Society is seeking a dedicated Janitor and Maintenance Worker. This position involves janitorial duties and maintenance of the facility, including plumbing and electrical upkeep. You will also support new staff and maintain a safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sweeping, washing, and waxing of floors
• Handle garbage disposal and manage recycling containers
• Monitor and maintain all building equipment
• Conduct repairs,



including plumbing and landscaping tasks
• Assist staff and oversee volunteers to meet facility needs

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 with two years of relevant experience
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification
• Strong physical and mental endurance for job tasks
• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
