Reporting to the Global Corporate Counsel & CPO, you will collaborate with various departments to provide strategic legal support and advice on applicable legislation. In this role, you are expected to exemplify Teck’s core values while adhering to workplace safety and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on Canadian workplace and privacy legislation
• Provide legal support on employment and human rights matters
• Collaborate with operations to offer training and guidance
• Manage pension law advisory related to BC-registered plans
• Handle confidential matters with professionalism

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal practitioner
• Member of the BC Bar or eligible for call
• Expertise in BC employment law and human rights
• Outstanding communication skills in English
