Verdyn, a Canadian designer and manufacturer of power-electronics based solutions, seeks a Senior Firmware & FPGA Engineer for our Oakville facility. You will own real-time control firmware and FPGA gateware at the heart of our solid state transformer, collaborating with hardware to partition tasks between FPGA and processor. You will design, simulate, and test embedded firmware and gateware, aiming for reliable control loops on high-power hardware using Infineon SiC devices and IEC 61508
