Location: Moncton, New Brunswick Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift: Afternoon Shift Reports To: Service Manager Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour , depending on experience Shift Premium: Available Position Overview Staffmax is hiring a Licensed Trailer Technician for a full-time, permanent position in Moncton, New Brunswick.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a full range of trailer maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services.

This includes routine preventive maintenance as well as troubleshooting and more complex repairs.

The ideal candidate is skilled, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities Inspect, assess, diagnose, and repair trailers to ensure all work meets quality standards.

Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on trailers and transportation equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical and other equipment issues and complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Diagnose and repair trailer systems and components.

Complete work orders accurately and provide clear explanations of work performed.

Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to industry standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Train and support apprentices as required.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements Valid provincial Certificate of Qualification / Red Seal certification in the applicable trade is preferred/required.





Strong knowledge and competency in trailer maintenance and repair.

Previous experience in a similar position is an asset.

Experience with fabrication and welding is an asset.

Experience with tailgate repairs is an asset.

Basic knowledge of ABS diagnostic software .

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Ability to read and understand work orders and technical information.

Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to lift up to 85 lbs.

Strong safety awareness and ability to follow workplace safety procedures.

Compensation & Benefits Competitive wage of $25.00–$30.00/hour , based on experience.
