Elevate customer service in the Home & Farm sector at Red Deer Home Centre. This full-time Sales Advisor role focuses on building relationships and delivering expert advice to clients.
In this position, you will work to enhance the sales area by connecting with Farmers, Contractors, and other industry professionals. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, preparing customer reports, and supporting the tendering process. Your expertise in interpreting construction plans will also be valuable as you recommend product improvements and maintain a Vendor Reference Database.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with Farmers, Contractors, and industry peers
• Develop marketing strategies for geographic territory
• Provide exceptional guest service both in-person and remotely
• Prepare comprehensive customer status and sales reports
• Support tendering with quantities and pricing information
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent; business diploma preferred
• 3–6 years of sales experience, ideally in building or agricultural sectors
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum)
• Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
