General Manager

On behalf of our client, a leader in garage door manufacturing and distribution, we are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a Regina distribution center. This role will oversee daily operations, P&L; performance, customer service, sales growth, safety, inventory accuracy, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and facility operations.

Drive continuous improvement, productivity, and cost reduction.

Manage the distribution center's P&L;, budgets, and key performance indicators.

Build customer relationships and conduct proactive sales outreach.

Recruit, coach, and lead warehouse, delivery, and office personnel.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and service.

Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance.

Participate in the setup and opening of the new distribution center.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications





5-7 years of warehouse or distribution management experience.

Experience managing budgets, P&L; statements, and logistics operations.

Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Mechanically inclined, with knowledge of hand and power tools.

Comfortable using KPIs and data to drive decisions.

Valid driver's license required.

College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
