In this permanent, full-time role, you will manage health and safety programs and oversee emergency planning for the University. Your expertise will ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation. You will also lead a team and manage relationships with regulatory officials to promote a safe, healthy work environment throughout the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee health and safety program compliance across campuses
• Manage hazard assessments and workplace inspections
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and training




• Develop policies to improve safety practices
• Act as liaison with emergency responders during crises

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety or related field
• Minimum five years' health and safety experience
• Two years in management roles, preferably in education
• Certification in First Aid CPR with AED
• Familiarity with indigenous engagement and practices
