Royal Columbian Hospital: A bustling teaching hospital and regional Level 1 trauma centre featuring high‑acuity cardiac, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and high‑risk obstetric caseloads.
Eagle Ridge Hospital: An active community surgical centre focusing on high‑efficiency ambulatory and elective surgical services.
As a designated UBC and SFU affiliate teaching site, there is an expectation that locum staff participate in the perioperative teaching and supervision of medical students and residents during scheduled slates.
Locums will find a welcoming, collegial group of physicians with strong nursing, allied health, and academic support.
