QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Psychologist.

Experience in complex pain management or a related field preferred.

Experience with short-term individual and group therapy required.

Knowledge of and experience with treatment specific to crisis stabilization an asset.

Driver's license valid in BC.

Skills And Abilities Knowledge of the interactions between pain, addictions and mental disorders.

Knowledge of complex pain assessment tools, MMPI and BPI.

Exercise sound judgment, decision-making and problem solving.

Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Ability to plan and organize workload and establish priorities.

Knowledge of community dynamics, agencies and resources.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Knowledge of non-violent crisis intervention.

Ability to deal effectively with wide range of community and facility contacts.
