Community Connector & Independence Coach St. Albert | Part-time (approx. 15 hrs/week) | $20.24/hr + mileage Flexible schedule Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday/Sunday I’m looking for a resourceful, outgoing person to team up with my 34-year-old son to help him develop new skills and interests, build social connections, and gain confidence and independence. He has a developmental disability, is employed, and loves sports, fitness, and music. He’s interested in exploring new activities, finding meaningful volunteer opportunities, and becoming more involved in his community. The role is about initiative, problem-solving, and creating opportunities. I’m looking for someone who brings fresh ideas and energy, enjoys working collaboratively, and can help him navigate new situations,
think through everyday challenges, and become increasingly independent. Occasional work-related support with communication and problem-solving may also be needed. What I’m looking for: * Good judgment, a sense of humour, and strong communication skills. * Someone who connects naturally with people, takes initiative, and respects his independence and choices. * A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. If this sounds like a valuable fit, please send me a little about yourself, along with your resume! Thanks for your interest!
