Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hands-on Multi Family / Commercial Site Supervisor to lead by example, and coordinate construction projects across multi-family residential developments and commercial projects.

Your leadership will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship while maintaining strong client relationships and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities on multi-family and commercial sites, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any onsite issues promptly
- Strap on the tool bags and complete various in-house tasks, primarily related to carpentry.
- Monitor project progress using construction management software such as Fieldwire and Microsoft Project, updating schedules and tracking milestones regularly
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to blueprints, schematics, and building codes, addressing any deficiencies immediately
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing estimates,



and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite activities effectively
- Oversee safety protocols, enforce OSHA standards, and conduct regular safety meetings to maintain a secure work environment

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in multi-family or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Strong carpentry skills with proven experience and attention to detail
- Proficiency with government procurement protocols. Primary clients include Department of National Defence and various municipalities
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Fieldwire, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Deep knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Skilled in quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
