Posting 2027-137: Long Term Occasional Elementary Support Teacher (0.4 FTE) STC

This position is to provide daily coverage and support to a Teacher with a Transitional Certificate in their final practicum in order for them to complete their educational requirements. The teacher will also provide mentorship, coaching (ex. classroom management and report card writing), co-teaching, and other supports deemed beneficial.

- Duties to commence October 19, 2026 and end on or about December 16, 2026 (or earlier if circumstances change).
- Schedule: Monday's, and Wednesday's
- Location: St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School, Walkerton
- Grade(s): JK/SK

Qualifications

- Hold a Certificate of Registration for Ontario College of Teachers valid for assignment as an Elementary Teacher at the time of application.




- Hold qualifications in Primary Division.
- Hold qualifications in Kindergarten (an asset)
- Hold qualification in Special Education (an asset).
- Hold a Religious Education Certificate Part I or a Letter of Equivalency (preferred).
