K is an active young man who enjoys a wide variety of community activities throughout the week. He is looking for support two days a week to help him enjoy his community, run small errands and maintain healthy routines.
K is fortunate to have a strong support network, both through Spectrum and his family and social network. His team is primarily composed of long-standing staff who know his needs and offer continued support to new staff looking to build a healthy working relationship with him.
K uses a company vehicle to access his community.
Duties And Responsibilities
- assist with personal care routines
- medication administration
- Assist with meal preparation and household cleaning
- provide positive support when K is anxious or gets stuck in a train of thought
- work collaboratively with family and team members.

Rate Of Pay
CSW: $26.00/hour to $28.25/hour
Probation
3 months
Driving Requirement
Driver's license (Class 5)
Preferred Training Or Experience
Training provided. Some experience in the field preferred.
Specific Training Or Experience Required
- Supporting People who get anxious
- Ability to motivate, encourage and engage the interests of others.
- Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage)
