We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as a 2nd to 4th Year Apprentices in the electrical trade. This paid apprenticeship provides hands-on experience and training in electrical systems, construction, and industrial applications. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in developing their skills in electrical work, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.
This role offers a comprehensive pathway to becoming a skilled electrician, with exposure to various aspects of industrial electrical systems and construction projects. Candidates must have hand tools and cordless tools, as well as good knowledge of their use.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment to perform assigned tasks
- Learn to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for proper wiring and system setup
- Participate in construction activities related to electrical installations and upgrades
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Gain experience working with low voltage systems, circuit breakers,
switches, and control panels
- Contribute to the troubleshooting of electrical issues under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
Skills
- Basic knowledge or interest in industrial electrician work and electrical systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction practices is a plus
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Understanding of low voltage electrical systems is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn current skills through hands-on training and mentorship
- Prior experience or coursework related to electrical work or construction is advantageous but not required
This apprenticeship position is designed for individuals eager to develop a career in the electrical industry. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for learning practical skills while contributing positively to team projects. Pay: $17.84-$44.61 per hour
