Looking for meaningful part-time work where you can see a child's progress happen right in front of you? At AVO Family Consultation Services, our ABA Therapists work one-on-one in-home with children and youth (ages 4–20), helping them build the communication, social, and daily-living skills that change the course of their lives — and their families' lives too.

We're a warm, close-knit team in Kitchener-Waterloo, and we're hiring now. You'll be backed by experienced clinical supervision, supported by a team-oriented multidisciplinary team, and given the flexibility to build a schedule that fits your life.

What You'll Do

- Deliver individualized, evidence-based ABA therapy one-on-one, following each child's treatment plan
- Collect and track behavioural data to monitor progress and guide program adjustments
- Build social, communication, and self-care skills that promote everyday independence
- Create a safe, engaging, encouraging environment where children feel supported to learn and grow
- Partner with families, educators, and other care providers so goals stay consistent across settings
- Keep clear, accurate session notes and progress records

What You Bring — must-haves:

- Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Autism & Behavioural Science,



or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with children in a therapeutic, educational, or ABA setting
- Ability to travel within Kitchener-Waterloo (in-home and community sessions)
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain one before starting
- Patience, adaptability, and warm, clear communication

Assets (not required):

- RBT certification or ABA coursework
- Evening/weekend availability
- First Aid/CPR
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
