Insurance Account Assistant — RIBO Licensed

Pay: CA$50,000–CA$60,000 per year

Location: Windsor, Ontario

Premium Insurance Brokers is looking for an organized and motivated Account Assistant to join our Windsor office.

In this role, you will support our brokers and account managers with the day-to-day administration and servicing of client accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling documentation, processing requests, and following up with clients and insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

- Assist brokers and account managers with new business, renewals, and policy changes
- Prepare and process insurance applications, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy documents
- Check policy documents for accuracy and flag discrepancies for review
- Gather client information and follow up on outstanding documents, signatures, and payments
- Assist with billing inquiries and routine client service requests
- Communicate with clients and insurance company representatives regarding account updates and documentation
- Maintain accurate client files, activity notes, and records in the brokerage management system




- Track outstanding requests and follow-ups to help keep accounts on schedule
- Provide administrative support and contribute to efficient office operations

Qualifications:

- Valid RIBO licence is required
- Previous insurance brokerage experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Ontario personal and/or commercial insurance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skilled communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable using brokerage management systems, Microsoft Office, and insurance company portals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently while supporting a team
