Account Manager – Ottawa Territory

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually + performance-based bonus

We're looking for an Account Manager to develop and grow Canaropa's customer relationships and sales opportunities throughout the Ottawa territory.

In this role, you'll manage existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver architectural door hardware solutions. You'll play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding our market presence.

What you'll do

- Manage and grow existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities
- Identify sales opportunities and implement strategies to achieve territory sales objectives
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and training sessions
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity




- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and business development

What we're looking for:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Robust relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing customer accounts
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Experience in architectural hardware, building products, construction, or distribution is an asset
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently
