About Axiom Machinery

Axiom Machinery is a growing Ontario-based manufacturing group with three divisions:

- MetalPress Machinery – Fabrication and assembly of hydraulic presses and automation equipment
- Dynamo Furnaces – Design and manufacture of electric and gas melting furnaces
- BHC Investments – Real estate division owning and managing two industrial buildings

With ~20 employees across our operations, we manufacture highly engineered industrial machinery for customers across North America.

Duties

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, and UltiPro to record and reconcile financial transactions
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy across multiple ledgers
- Process payroll using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos,



and UltiPro while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Enter data accurately into various financial systems including Xero, Sage, and Workday for bookkeeping purposes
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management

Experience

- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial role within a corporate environment
- Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with payroll processing tools like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable procedures and account reconciliation techniques
- Excellent math skills with keen attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis
- Prior experience in financial services or related industries is a plus
- Ability to interpret financial data effectively and communicate findings clearly
