Role: AD Identity Separation Lead

Location: Canada (100% Remote)

Job Overview

We are seeking a senior AD / Entra ID Separation Lead to lead the separation of an identity setting from its legacy/parent environment and ensure a clean landing.

This is a senior strategy, sequencing, and governance role that sits above the hands-on migration work. The successful candidate will lead the identity separation strategy, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, drive key decisions, and manage stakeholder alignment.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience, including at least one full carve-out or TSA-exit identity separation .
- Proven experience owning identity separation strategy end-to-end , including:
- Forest trust design
- Trust teardown
- Coexistence period planning
- Strong Entra ID experience, including:
- Tenant strategy
- Conditional Access




- App registrations
- Federation
- SSO re-pointing
- Experience with application dependency discovery and remediation planning for identity-bound applications.
- Strong coordination experience across network, M365, security, and application teams .
- Ability to run workstreams, drive decisions, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Experience developing and managing cutover, contingency, and TSA-exit criteria .
- Comfortable identifying and presenting risks to senior leadership .

Nice to Have

- Privileged Access Management experience with CyberArk or Delinea .
- Identity Governance experience with SailPoint or Saviynt .
- Healthcare regulatory experience, including HIPAA.
- Prior partner-side delivery lead experience.
