About Killarney Health

Killarney Health is an integrative family wellness clinic in Vancouver. We focus on fertility support, PCOS/PMOS care, women's and hormonal health, perimenopause, digestive health, mental health, and weight loss. Our team includes Naturopathic Medicine, IV Therapy and Iron Infusions, Holistic Nutrition, Acupuncture, and Registered Massage Therapy. We direct bill extended health insurance for most services.

Our Clinical Director, Dr. Gehana Shankar, ND, has a fertility and hormone-focused practice. We're looking for an experienced TCM practitioner to become our trusted referral partner for acupuncture and herbal support. Our fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum patients would see you as part of their care team.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to build a specialized women's health practice inside a clinic that already shares your focus. You'll have the independence and flexibility of running your own practice, with a collaborative team, established systems, and a natural flow of cross-referrals behind you.

This role suits a practitioner with a clear vision for their practice who enjoys growing it. You might already have a loyal patient community, share your work online, or love connecting with others in the fertility and perinatal space. If so, you'll find a lot of room to grow here.

Our Location

Killarney Health is in a busy plaza on 49th Ave in Vancouver, with steady foot traffic and everyday shopping right outside our door. Our patients can fit appointments around errands and family routines, which makes regular treatment plans easier to stick to.

There are very few integrative clinics close by. Most are further down the road, not in our immediate neighbourhood. That gives you a real opportunity to become the go-to fertility and women's health acupuncturist for the local community.

Clinical Focus

- Fertility support (natural conception and preconception care)
- Acupuncture alongside IVF, IUI, and other assisted reproductive treatment,



including transfer-day support
- Pregnancy care (morning sickness, pain, breech presentation, labour preparation)
- Postpartum recovery and support
- Menstrual health, PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, perimenopause, and menopause
- General acupuncture for stress, pain, sleep, and digestion, as part of a well-rounded schedule

What You Bring

- Registration in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) as an R.Ac, R.TCM.P, or Dr.TCM
- Professional liability insurance
- Registration with extended health insurers so you can direct bill
- Clinical experience in fertility, pregnancy, and/or postpartum care
- A warm, evidence-informed approach to patient care and education
- Comfort with Jane (our booking and charting system), or willingness to learn it

Huge Assets

- Chinese herbal medicine registration and experience (R.TCM.H, R.TCM.P, or Dr.TCM), especially for fertility and cycle regulation
- Experience working with local fertility clinics (such as IVF/REI clinics in the Lower Mainland), including existing relationships, coordinated care, and acupuncture timed around IVF cycles
- Additional training in fertility or perinatal acupuncture
- An existing patient base who would follow you to Killarney Health
- An active presence on social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or similar), where you enjoy educating and connecting with your community
- Experience promoting your own practice through content, workshops, community talks, or newsletters
- Referral relationships with fertility clinics, midwives, doulas, OB/GYNs, or other perinatal providers

How We Work Together

- Cross-referrals: Our fertility-focused practice actively refers patients to an experienced TCM practitioner. Referrals go both ways, so your patients can also access our ND, IV therapy, nutrition,



and massage services for integrated care.
- Visibility: You'll be featured across the clinic website, Google presence, and social media. We love working with practitioners who create their own content too, so we can share and amplify each other's work.
- Collaboration: You'll have chances to co-host workshops, webinars, and community events, and to collaborate on content with our women's health team.
- Virtual front desk: Our virtual front desk team handles bookings, patient inquiries, reminders, and direct billing questions. The team is highly responsive and communicates quickly and clearly with patients and practitioners. You'll be kept in the loop on your schedule and your patients, without anyone needing to be physically at the desk.
- Support: You'll get a qualified, fully set-up treatment room, Jane booking, and direct billing, so you can spend your time on patient care and growing your practice. This setup suits a practitioner who is comfortable greeting their own patients and working independently in the clinic.

Compensation Competitive tiered percentage split that grows with your practice, about $84–$88 per treatment hour, with no room rental fees. Your split includes virtual front desk support, Jane booking, direct billing, clinic marketing, and built-in cross-referrals from our fertility-focused practice. We'll discuss the details at the interview.
