Opportunity Overview The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to problem gambling prevention. For more than 40 years, we have worked to reduce gambling risk by creating and delivering innovative awareness and information programs in Ontario and around the world. We work with priority populations, including youth, young adults, ethnocultural populations, and the public, to educate people on the risks of gambling, how to mitigate those risks, and how to access support.
We work with industry, regulators and government to promote the adoption of improved play safeguards through best practices research, knowledge mobilization, standards development, and the RG Check accreditation program.
RGC is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Support, Education and Programs to support the delivery, coordination, evaluation, and post-program reporting of a province-wide educational outreach program.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Education and Programs and working closely with the Coordinator, Education and Programs, the successful candidate will focus primarily on program implementation, Education Ambassador support, campus communications, logistics coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and end-of-year program evaluation. This role plays a key part in ensuring activities are delivered effectively, consistently, and in alignment with project goals. This role is a contract position for approximately 7 months on a part-time basis, 15-20 hours a week.
A significant component of this role involves tracking program outcomes, compiling stakeholder reports, and supporting end-of-year program evaluation activities. This position is well suited for an individual with experience in project administration and coordination, event support, community engagement, education programs, health promotion, or post-secondary engagement.
