Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities
- Support individuals with dementia or disabilities by implementing tailored care plans and engaging them in meaningful activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of personal spaces
- Monitor health status, report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly,



and document observations thoroughly
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster a positive living experience

Requirements

- Proven experience working with adults in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care and medication administration
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Relevant certifications in caregiving or health & safety are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary training is expected
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends or evenings as required
