In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. Your mechanical expertise and electrical experience will help you troubleshoot complex issues, interpret schematics, and deliver solutions that leave customers satisfied and confident in their appliances. Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance malfunctions through detailed inspections and testing procedures
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC systems
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to guide repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance to prolong appliance lifespan and optimize performance
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair processes,
answer questions, and provide maintenance tips
- Assemble appliances or parts as needed for installation or repair purposes
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure quality control
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical components
- Mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances efficiently
- Proven appliance repair skills across various brands and models
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus for multi-skilled technicians
- Experience with assembly of appliances or related equipment is advantageous
