Key Responsibilities & Skills

- 8+ years of experience in RPG400, RPGLE, CL400, and IBM i (AS400) development and support.

- Develop, debug, maintain, and enhance RPG-based applications and batch/interactive processes.

- Strong experience with DB2/400, SQL/400, Query/400, DDS, Physical/Logical Files, and database optimization.

- Perform application support, troubleshooting, job monitoring, and error resolution using WRKACTJOB, WRKSYSSTS, STRDBG, and DSPJOBLOG.

- Experience in CL programming, job scheduling, system operations, security, user profiles, and object authorities.

- Gather requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders, onsite, and offshore teams.

- Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, FTP, JSON, XML, and EDI.

- Robust expertise in performance tuning, debugging, and RPG optimization.

- Knowledge of RPG modernization, free-format RPGLE, and IBM i/cloud migration.
